The manufacturer registered a “momentum” in the last quarter of the year and forecasts a positive trend for 2022.

The company delivered $5.8 billion (€5.3B) in sales last year, while in 2020 the amount reached $4.92 billion (€4.5B).

In the quarter ended January 29th 2022 sales reached $1.51 billion (€1.38B), 13% more than the same period of the previous year.

"Our results for the quarter and full year demonstrate that our focus on long-term, sustainable growth, powered by continued delivery against our strategic growth opportunities, is working," said today Chairman and CEO Ron Coughlin.

Petco expects for 2022 revenue growth of 6-8% amid a “strong” and “resilient” pet category.
