Pet Circle is looking for suppliers to expand its feeding, toys, home and grooming references to the current 10,000 products.

The Sydney-based unicorn company, which has been recently valued at over $1 billion (€910M), is on the active lookout for new products brands in food, treats, health, and flea & worming categories.

“We know that the North American market is a major market for pet supplies in general so we have looked in that direction but we are very open to pet products from other regions including Europe and Asia,” a company spokesperson told GlobalPETS.

The company is open to both wholesale and private label partnerships.

“We also want to cast a wider net for products across all species, including equine, small animals, reptiles, fish, birds, and poultry, so not just dogs and cats.”

Research from Animal Medicines Australia concluded that two-thirds of Australian families own a pet and spend an average of $3,200 per dog and $2,100 per cat per year, increasingly online.
